 Credit Card Security / Encryption 
Our site uses 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. You will notice a lock at the bottom right of your web browser when you reach a secure page. All of your private information, including your credit card number and expiry date is encrypted using the same technology as banks use for online transactions. It is decrypted at our server, and no one can see your credit card number when transmitted. It is actually more secure than a retail employee taking an imprint in person.

Please note, there are long delays in obtaining replacement birth certificates, and passport applications require a birth certificate and government photo id. It takes between five and ten business days to process a passport once the applications have been submitted.

It is imperative that your travel documents are in order prior to arriving at the airport to avoid disruption to your travel plans. Contact us if you are in any way unsure about these requirements.

 Tickets 
Tickets will be sent to you time permitting. It is common practise with all travel agencies and tour operators to require that bookings made within two weeks of departure are "airport pickup". There is no need to worry about airport pickup. Before you check in for your flight, we'll have your airline tickets and hotel vouchers available at the tour operator booth for pickup. In the extremely rare case that the tickets are not at this booth, it is possible for counter staff to reprint them onsite.

It is important to review your tickets and confirmations carefully. Double check your departure dates, times, name spellings, etc. Also, if you have purchased a package, verify the hotel voucher to ensure that the hotel name, room category, and meal plan are correct.


 Contact 
We will contact you after booking online to review the reservation and ensure it is correct. If there are errors, catching them early is essential. We'll discuss your insurance coverage, tickets, and answer any questions you may have. If there is a final payment required, we will confirm the final payment date, as some bookings include an early booking discount.

 Confirmation / Invoicing / Final Payment 
Immediately, upon booking, a confirmation including all details about your booking will be emailed to you. Your credit card will be billed at the time of booking. If a final payment is required, we will contact you prior to processing your final payment, and to verify the credit card number and expiry date.

You will receive a hard copy invoice from us with your booking details and billing by mail.


 Schedule Changes 
In the event that an airline or tour operator changes their flight times, we will contact you by phone, and by whatever means possible (cell phone, business phone, email) to advise you of this change. Time permitting, we will also mail or email revised itinerary details to you. Tour operators and airlines have the ability in their terms and conditions, and in provincial regulations, to change times by up to 24 hours. Sometimes these changes can occur at the last minute, or in destination. We strongly advise that you reconfirm your flight information with your airline directly within 24 hours of departure.

 Changes / Cancellations 
If you need to change your booking (including a name, date, hotel, etc.), contact us by telephone or email as soon as possible to avoid escalating penalties. We will find out the cost of the change and process the change by telephone.

We strongly suggest that you purchase RBC trip cancellation insurance through us. If you do have to cancel, contact us immediately to avoid escalating penalties. The tour operator cancellation penalties disclosed prior to sale will apply.


 Insurance 
At the time of sale, we will offer you 3 insurance options. The deluxe plan is the best you can buy, and will cover you for non-pre-existing medical reasons related to hospital medical while outside the province, cancellation, trip interruption, and missed connections. You can also buy this coverage without the hospital medical portion (non medical cancellation) if you are confident of your own group or credit card medical coverage.

If you decline insurance, we will contact you after booking to discuss, just to be sure. When leaving your province, there are limitations of provincial health coverage that could run into the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Insurance Claims 
RBC Insurance has toll free and collect 24 hour call centre that can process your insurance claim. Bookitforless.ca will assist with insurance claims to expedite service at your request.

 Airport Parking

 Flight Reconfirmation 
We strongly suggest that you contact your airline directly within 24 hours of departure to verify your flight times. We will make all reasonable attempts to contact you when we are made aware of a schedule change, but sometimes these occur after business hours, and at the last minute. Avoid disappointment by checking ahead of time. Return reconfirmation numbers in destination will be found inside your tickets and confirmation.

 Destination Services 
When you book a package holiday, the tour operator has destination staff contracted to assist you. Destination representatives are available by telephone (information provided in your confirmations and tickets), and with office hours at various hotels. In the event you need assistance in destination email service@bookitforless.ca or fax us 877-528-9283 or call us during business hours. We will do our best to assist you if you cannot get service locally.

 Post Travel Followup 
If you have comments about your trip after your return, you can submit them by email to service@bookitforless.ca. We will forward your comments to the relevant parties and assist in communication and follow up.
